John Frietze, president and second-generation cooling tower professional, has been involved with cooling tower projects from a young age. Frietze began his cooling tower education under his father’s tutelage.
His father, along with his brother, have been a vital part of the cooling tower industry in the midwest region, had decades of skills and expertise to pass to his young sons. Soon the young Frietze’s knowledge and competence of industry standards grew and he was assigned to lead and supervise technical crews to complete cooling tower projects for his brother’s company.
Frietze worked while attending college at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. His desire to accomplish big things led him to join the US NAVY and after serving 20 years, he came back to his cooling tower roots with a fresh vision.
Making project management and customer satisfaction a primary concern, he went to work for a large cooling tower company working in the field as an Operations Manager. His unique knowledge of fieldwork and extensive knowledge base combined with the technical aspects of cooling towers created a high demand for his unique capabilities and competencies. In 2019 Frietze decided to create a cooling tower company that would be a trusted, reliable partner for its customers. Cooling Tower Experts was born. Freezing out the competition one tower at a time!
