The CTT2 assists the Foreman with the construction, erection, installation, fabrication, and repair of all types of cooling towers. The CTT2 must be able to carry out assigned duties without the constant supervision of a Foreman. The incumbent must work diligently to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to CTE quality standards. This position may require extensive travel depending on the project location.

COOLING TOWER TECH II
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Foreman with the installation of mechanical motors, fans, and fan shafts and alignment
- Read blue prints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, dimensions of the structure or fixture and liaise with and Foreman for direction
- Assist the Foreman with the selection of lumber and other materials to be used on the assigned job
- Assist the Foreman with preparation and layout using rulers, tape measures, framing squares and calipers
- Assist the Foreman with marking, cutting and assembly lines on materials using pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
- Assist the Foreman with shaping materials to prescribed measurements using saws, chisels, and grinders
- Assist the Foreman with assembling cut and shaped materials
- Assist the Foreman with the erection of framework
- Assist the Foreman with additional tasks as assigned by Superintendent

REQUIREMENTS
Below are the initial requirements that you MUST meet in order to qualify for this role:
- 7 Year Graded Background Check
- TWIC
- Drug Test
- Must have reliable means of transportation to and from office
- Cannot be afraid of heights
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 -5 years in field construction
- 1 year (minimum) Cooling Tower Technician 3 in cooling tower construction
CERTIFICATIONS | SKILLS | ABILITIES
- Valid Drivers License
- OSHA 10
- Rigging, forklift, and man lift certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of structural, mechanical, and piping installation
- Knowledge of the operation of construction tools and terminology
- Knowledge of construction safety guidelines
